Dear Mama,
It’s Mother’s Day again.
The posts are up. The flowers are delivered.
The “You’re amazing!” captions are rolling in.
But beyond the public praise… how many mums feel truly seen?
How many are silently battling anxiety, loneliness, or the aching question: “Is this what motherhood is supposed to feel like?”
Today is another Mother’s Day, and another reminder to appreciate the women who mother.
But while we’re celebrating, let’s also be honest:
So many mums are still in survival mode.
Some are battling high blood pressure or postpartum anxiety.
Some feel stuck in their careers, their homes, or their own minds.
Some joke about running away… and she probably would, if not for the fear of what would happen to her kids. Or fear of what people will say. Or both
The truth is:
There are good days, joyful, sweet, unforgettable ones.
But there are also days when you barely recognize your body, your mind, or your identity. And so we keep pushing.
One day at a time.
Waiting until the kids grow older.
Waiting for someone to finally ask, “But how are you really doing?”But motherhood doesn’t pause, and neither should your healing.
You deserve more than survival.
You deserve clarity. You deserve joy.
You deserve a version of motherhood that includes you.
That’s why I created the Rewrite Your Normal Workshop- a free session designed to help you gently step out of survival mode and reconnect with yourself.
